The wonderful people over at the Quo Vadis Blog were offering Planners for review, so I decided to see if the Eco-friendly one was for me. The cover feels awesome and I love that you can refill it.

The first page is the usual fill-in-your-info page, so I didn't photograph it.
The next page is titled "notes" and this is where I tested the paper.

It didn't feather with any of my fountain pens or regular pens, but it did have a small amount of show-through. No bleeding either.
The paper isn't very smooth, and it's a bit thin, but I guess that's the price you have to pay with some eco-friendly products. It's a bit grey-er then regular paper, but despite all this nit-picking, I didn't really
mind writing on it, it's just not exactly Clairefontaine :p
The next page was a the schedule thingy that I never really found much use for. I suppose if some schools changed their schedules every 2 weeks or something you might find a use for these pages.

After that came the "year-at-a-glance" section.

Then the bulk of the planner, the weekly section:

At the base of each page is a perforated corner and my OCD demanded that I rip off the corners from the days that have passed.

At the end of the planner there are a bunch of maps like this one:

And finally, the last page is as follows:

This planner is well thought-out, have ok paper, and doesn't have too much useless info stuffed into it (I'm talking to YOU Moleskine planner!). Over all, I'd say this is an excellent weekly planner, but for it to be perfect for a student, I would say a monthly planner and a weekly planner would have to reproduce so I can see my due dates in advance and my homework for the current day.
But if a weekly planner is what you're looking for, this one is an excellent choice.
I already have a planner this year, and since this planner doesn't have a monthly section I don't believe I will be using it. I wrote on one page (the pen test) and tore off some of the corners, but I will be having a give away soon. I hope someone out there needs a planner!
